The operating entity of the brand is GAC Trumpchi Automobile Co., Ltd. (formerly GAC Motor Co., Ltd.), which was solely established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Founded on July 21, 2008, and headquartered in Guangzhou, China, the company has a registered capital of approximately 16 billion RMB, covers an area of 1.18 million square meters, and is a national high-tech enterprise. The legal representative and general manager of the company is He Xianqing.

GAC Trumpchi is committed to producing and selling vehicles, engines, parts, and accessories that meet international advanced standards, as well as engaging in automotive engineering technology research and development. Adhering to the development philosophy of high quality and high value, it has built a complete model matrix covering sedans, SUVs, and MPVs, achieving full coverage of traditional powertrain and new energy models. Development History

The development history of GAC Trumpchi is a microcosm of Chinese independent brands growing from nothing, and from catching up to surpassing. In November 2005, the GAC "Changlong Meeting" was held, formally proposing the establishment of an independent brand. On July 21, 2008, GAC Motor Co., Ltd. was officially established, and GAC Trumpchi was born.
